Pothan Vava

Mammootty's next mega entertainer - Pothan Vava is in the making. The shooting of this mega movie from Lal Creations, directed by Joshi, started in various locations in Cochin, in the first week of August. The movie tells the story of an extra ordinary bonding between a mother and his son. "Kurishuveettil Mariyamma Vakkeel", popularly known as "Vakkeel Amma" is no ordinary woman. She has the guts and will power of that of any male. Her only son "Vava" is very fond of his mother and will do anything what she asks him to do. Vava is a daring personality and will go for any thing. He grew up as a bold and daring person and the people around called him "Pothan Vava". Mammootty - Joshi combines after many years, to create yet another sure hit - Pothan Vava. The movie will also witness the entry of Pop star Usha Uthup, into Malayalam cinema. Usha Uthup will give life to the strong character of "Vakkel Amma", in the movie. Actress Gopika takes the role of Advocate Gladis in the movie. Nedumudi Venu, Rajan P. Dev, Maniyanpilla Raju, Kalashala Babu, Ponnamma Babu, etc are the supporting casts.
The special combination of mega-star Mammootty along with director Joshi and hit making team Lal Creations and hit script writer Benny P. Nayarambalam, Pothan Vava gives much expectation to the Malayalam movie lovers.
